DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Applies Multiple Intelligences theory in classroom practice

· Oversees and participates in the designing, creating, and assessing of innovative activities

and enhancing our existing curriculum

· Creates and maintains a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for child ren

· Updates parents about their child’s experience at school in writing and in person

· Contributes to the overall success of the school, including participates in at leas t one after

school activity and other m arketing events

· Adheres to * Group poli cies and procedures

· Oversees and maintains the observation, assessment and recording of the students’ growth

and development throug hout the entire school year

· Provides and maintains measures that will ensure child s afety and welfare during school

hours

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICAT IONS

1. Education, Training and Ex perience

· Degree in Education from a r ecognized university, early childho od preferr ed

· 2 years of experience as a lead teacher i n a kinder garten

· Native English speaker

· Special education training pre ferred, bu t not required

· Understanding o f Multiple Intelligences theory (to be provided by The * Group)
