AVAILABLE POSITIONS FOR ENGLISH TEACHERS AT TAUNGYI - EARNING $1600/ MONTH

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native English Speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

• Education background:
  + Bachelor degree at least, majoring in Education preferably.

+ Teaching certification:  TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA.

• Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience required.

• Start time: ASAP, in November 2019.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Salary: $1600/ month, no tax.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with young kids from 6  to 11 years old.

• Manage small class size: 15 - 20 students in each class.

• Deliver English class with a local teaching assistant. 

• Work from Monday to Friday, 40 hours/ week.

• Create lesson plans according to British curriculum.

• Taunggyi is the capital and largest city of Shan State, Myanmar and lies on the Thazi-Kyaingtong road at an elevation of 4,712 feet, just north of Shwenyaung and Inle Lake within the Myelat region.

• Taunggyi’s culturally diverse population means that it has places of worship for a host of religions, including a number of mosques, a Chinese Buddhist monastery.
