School Vision / Ethos: This small international school has a vision to create a community of internationally minded global leaders who are about making everyone´s tomorrow a better tomorrow. Regional Overview: Krakow is known as the "Royal City" and "the Jewel in Poland´s crown", with a lot to offer and has a different character as you go from district to district. The Old Town is the former capital and historical centre and is full of centuries-old buildings with amazing basements . From there you can walk to the trendy Jewish District, Kazimierz with varied restaurants and bars that cover every possible music taste. In the summer head to Zakrzowek or Bagry - beautiful lakes just a shot tram ride from town and when winter hits head to the nearby Tatra mountains for ski season! Other tourist hotspots include the Schindler Museum, the Wieliczka Salt Mines and Auschwitz is also about 2 hours away on the train. For day to day living, Krakow is very accessible with large shopping malls, supermarkets and so on which gives the best of both worlds.
Requirements: Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree level certification and QTS or equivalent. You should have at least 1 year of experience post qualification as a minimum, although strong NQT´s will be considered. Previous UK and/or IB experience is preferable, and international experience is welcomed.
Package: Salaries approx. £1260 - £1500 AFTER TAX, plus benefits including accommodation allowance, state medical, optional private insurance contribution, tuition discount. The lower cost of living makes this a comfortable salary and easily lived on.
