School Vision / Ethos: This young international school opened its doors in September 2014 with much fanfare. This schools mission is to "build excellence" and aims for academic excellence through an enquiry model of teaching. The school offers the IB PYP framework alongside the UK curriculum. Starting with years 3 - 6 - the school will organically grow to a through Primary to Secondary school. The school has existed for many years as a non-international school, prior to its move to an international School accreditation, where it has built a strong reputation for innovative world class pedagogy integrating the best soviet and world trends in education.

Kazan is a modern city (Russia´s 8th largest), 500 miles east of Moscow. It has a cosmopolitan vibe whilst maintaining that untouched feel. Kazan is something of a sporting centre and is known as the sporting capital of Russia. It will participate in the 2018 Football World Cup and has an amusement park, two water parks, Golf and a Ski resort. You will find Western brand shops such as IKEA and known clothing brands etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: The school follows the England and Wales curriculum and therefore UK trained teachers are preferred however applicants with UK curriculum experience are also welcome to apply. Experience of PYP is highly desirable too. NQT´s are welcome to apply and full IB training will be offered if not experienced. Previous international experience is welcomed - but the school really desires teachers with "a can do attitude".
