• Provides leadership for teachers by planning, collaborating, organizing, mentoring and facilitating technology integration in the classroom
• Maintain availability in personal schedule for teachers either through appointments or for "drop-in” visits
• Provides knowledge of appropriate standards, content, materials, and resources relating to instructional technology
• Facilitates the use of research-based instructional technology teaching strategies and best practices to address the needs of teachers and school goals
• Attends the ES and MHS Academic Council meetings to identify technology needs of teachers and school goals
• Oversees the Resources Committee
• Prepares documentation (e.g. user guides, recommendations, lesson plans, reports, instructions, memos, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, training materials, and/or conveying information
• Provides input and recommendations regarding hardware and software purchases and technology policies
• Assists in new technology system deployments and upgrading systems
• Assists in minor troubleshooting for technology-related issues

• Education RequiredBachelor

• Master’s degree preferred in an education-related field (i.e., educational/instructional technology)
• At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience
• At least 3 years of Webmaster experience
• Valid teaching and/or administrative license or certificate preferred
• Experience preferred with Final-Site and/or website design
