JOB DETAILS

An opportunity has arisen to join the team as an English Reviewer at one of Thailand’s leading law firm. We are looking to fill this position long-term, so the ideal candidate would be someone who is well-settled in Bangkok and would like to put down roots in a secure working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Reviewing agreements, contracts, letters, notices, e-mails and other written material to ensure that the English used is clear, consistent, accurate and error-free
· Conducting interviews with prospective employees to establish their English competency levels using the IELTS scoring system and providing written reports thereon to the Human Resources Department
· Giving English lessons to staff at the firm on an ad hoc basis


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

· Native English speaker
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in English or a similar field
· Minimum of two years experience in a role that requires using an advanced level of business English to draft and review written documents, preferably in a legal environment
· Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision
· Service-minded – willing and able to work outside of standard office hours if required
· Computer skills: Microsoft Office

Working Hours

· Standard office hours – 8 hours/day with 1 hour lunch break
