We are a well established adult training center in China, aimed at helping adults acquire English. We are looking for an ESL Curriculum Designer to work on the curriculum design. You will work with the Education Department team to improve, write and develop an ESL curriculum based on industry best practices and current company material with an emphasis on conversational practical English.

Most of our students start with some English ability, with their reading and writing skills are better than their listening and speaking. They are often especially lacking confidence and fluency, so it is our job to create a learning environment which is as positive and supportive as possible. You will work on creating a detailed curriculum and supporting lesson plans to establish: clear learning outcomes, communicative functions, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and assessment criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Native English speaker from UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or Ireland

-Notarized bachelor’s degree or above

-TEFL certificate 120 hours or above required

-6 years of teaching experience, particularly with adult ESL learners OR someone who’s already a curriculum developer with at least 3 years of adult teaching experience

-Experience of curriculum design and lesson plan development

-Clean criminal record

-Highly responsible team player with hard working ethics
