Birmy Education is a professional English Training Institution that focuses on English language training to students from 4 to 65 years old (Both kids language training school as well as schools for teenagers and adults). Exclusively, we have two branch schools that concentrates on child English education only. With its headquarters located in Taizhou City, Birmy now has 10 schools in China which are located in Taizhou (Zhejiang Province), Changsha (Hunan Province) and Xiamen (Fujian Province). Birmy has been on the market of education for more than 10 years and we are opening another new school for children this coming June. Voted as one of the "China Best 100 Educational Institutions”, Birmy was officially certified by IEERA as an "International English Educational and Researching Institution” and "International Certificate Training Center”.
Job Overview
ESL Teachers at Birmy education teach two types of level-based classes: Private Classes and Salon Classes. Our Private Class contains no more than 4 students each class, whereas our Salon Class is no more than 10 students each lesson. Our students are adults, teenagers and kids, aging from 4 to 65. Textbooks and training plans are provided by Department of Birmy Education and Research.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach 20 to 25 hours (work 40 hours) per week
- Lesson planning and preparation
- Conducting level tests
- Administration duties (i.e. Attendance records, curriculum development)
- Counseling students by providing constructive feedback
- Participation in Extra Curricular Activities
- Participating in ongoing training and workshops arranged by school
- Attending all scheduled meetings
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required CertificatesTESL/TEFL Certificate
- Education RequiredBachelor
Additional Requirements
- Native English Speaker or Non-native English Speaker with a minimum of a Bachelors degree achieved in a native English-speaking country
- TEFL/TESOL certification
- Teaching experience is preferred
