We are looking for male ESL teachers for an English Academy in Unaizah, Al Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia. The Academy is run by a UK consortium and this project is specifically for the medical sector. Contracts are for 6 months up to November 2017.
Teaching couples welcome as we also have female ESL roles within the same location / provider.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Be English native speakers – if they are not, instructors of English should present a recent IELTS 7 academic certificate (or equivalent) to show they have the bilingual ability to teach English. Non-native instructors of English must present the IELTS certificate before their employment contract can be confirmed.
- Have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in English Language or Literature, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or education with an English teaching major. Master’s degree in the above is desirable
- Have previous teaching experience in the post-secondary, technical or vocational sector. Three years’ experience is a minimum, with at least 5 years’ experience desirable. (5+yrs may not require a related degree, subject to approval)
- Hold a recognised TEFL teaching qualifications at CELTA level or above (DELTA level is desirable)
Package
- 16846 SAR TAX FREE per month (£3580 / $4500)
- Compound accommodation provided, including use of all facilities (swimming pools, gym, football pitch, sauna, community centre etc)

- Visa (6 month visit visa which does not require return to home country for processing).
