Where will you be teaching?

Guangzhou (Canton), a prosperous metropolis full of vigor, is the capital city of Guangdong Province located along the south coastline of China. Being an excellent port on the Pearl River navigable to the South China Sea, and with fast accessibility to Hong Kong and Macau, the city serves as the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center in Guangdong area.

At Meten, we care about our teachers, and we work extra hard to make sure we provide support for those in our teaching positions.From initial arrival support, such as hotel setup, and SIM card set up, to ESL teacher induction training, we’ll do our best to make sure you feel comfortable and part of a team. Our classrooms will have everything you need to to make sure your experience of teaching English abroad is amazing. Meten is there to help you improve professionally and for whatever you need to enjoy your new English teaching job.

What is your teaching conditions?

- 35 working hours/week

- 5 working days, 2 consecutive days off each week

- Small class size of 5 - 15 students

- Teaching assistant in each class

- Initial intense training provided

-Two types of shift work:

Morning shift: 9/10 AM – 5/6 PM

Evening shift: 1/2 PM – 9/10PM

- We offer teachers a salary range: 16,000 - 18,000 RMB per month, depending on qualification and experience

- Quarterly bonus: 2,500 RMB (flexible, based on performance and attendance rate)

- Demo lesson bonus: 200 RMB/ student

- Housing allowance: 1,500 - 3,000 RMB

- Health insurance provided

- Support and reimburse visa fee upto 7,500 RMB

- 8,000 RMB flight ticket reimbursement

- Renewal bonus: 3,000 RMB - 6,000 RMB

- Arrival hotel allowance (7 days): 300 RMB/ day

- Free mandarin lessons

-7 days paid hotel accommodation upon arrival
