A Canadian School, with campuses across the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey, is seeking many Preschool, Elementary and Middle School Canadian Teachers. 1 Principal is also required.  Istanbul, known as   "the city spanning two continents,” is known for its strong sense of community and quiet, yet scenic streets and towns.  The area boasts many century old buildings and structures, unique shops and markets, and friendly neighborhoods. 

This Canadian School has campuses in the upper middle class neighborhoods of Moda (Asian side of the country) and Ulus (European side of the country).  Both regions have excellent transportation, parks, tourism and shopping.  As one of the highest paying schools in the country, the package for Canadian teachers is appealing.  The teaching contract is 1 year. 

They educate children in Secondary campuses in various regions across Turkey and will be opening a Kindergarten campus on the world-reknowned Bagdat Street in Moda.  The schools are high-achieving, multidimensional, multicultural, multilingual, and creative facilities for children.  The staff hold professional international designations and accreditations and teach experience from around the world.  With an international mindset, children are prepared to live in an increasingly globalized world.  Their goal is to have students ready to continue on their education in any English-speaking country abroad, equipped with the language skills they have learned while in the educational programs offered by the school.  English and French are both taught from first grade.  The school has adopted a focus on play-based teaching at a preschool age and they instill a sense of social responsibility in the children as they progress through the curriculum. The school has also taken special care to build an entire nutrition program on menus consisting of 100% natural, organic and seasonal ingredients.  The Director of Education at this school is very well known for her work in various educational models and foreign language instruction. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Preschool Teachers -  minimum of 2 year College Diploma in Early Childhood Education (4 year Degree preferred)
