JOB DETAILS

House of Griffin is seeking qualified and experienced high-school subject teachers in English (ESL) and social studies to teach small classes of students as they work towards graduating school with their high-school diploma and GED, SAT and IELTS qualifications. The position is full-time, and teachers will be based in Samut Sakhon, 

The ideal candidate will be qualified and experienced in high-school teaching. Moreover, they should be able to deliver highly engaging lessons and have familiarity with a range of modern, Western teaching methodologies, with emphasis on research-based approaches to learning. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver, assess, evaluate and administer assigned courses
• Manage student behavior 
• Communicate student issues to the Director of Studies
• Develop differentiated teaching materials appropriate to course and student level


QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS 

• Native speakers from UK, Australia, NZ, Canada, South Africa and the US (Essential)
• 120-hour CELTA / TEFL / TESOL certificate or equivalent (Essential)
• DELTA / Trinity Diploma (Preferred)
• University degree, preferably in Education or a related field (Essential)
• At least one-year ESL teaching experience, preferably in a high-school environment (Preferred)
• Experience teaching in Thailand (Preferred)
• Computer literate
