We are looking for part-time corporate teachers for our clients throughout Bangkok, as well as general English and IELTS teachers for our English training center located near Asoke BTS.

1) Corporate Teachers (around Bangkok) - 600 baht/hour:

We are seeking experienced language teachers and business English tutors to join our corporate education department, working both onsite and on location with our corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering a valuable and highly engaging educational experience during their lessons, and importantly be extremely reliable and motivated. You will be familiar with a range of teaching methodologies, capable of preparing effective lesson plans and knowledgeable of a range of corporate course materials. Moreover, you will be familiar with a range of English testing standards with particular emphasis on the CEFR and TOEIC. 

2) In-House Teachers (near Asoke BTS) - 400 baht/hour (General English), 600 baht/hour (IELTS Private Lessons):

We are a language school located in central Bangkok, just a few minutes’ walk from Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations. We teach small classes of adult learners (usually 6-15 students) who are friendly and also dedicated to learning English. We teach a core general English curriculum following a textbook series, which provides helpful structure for our teachers though we do still welcome creative approaches to teaching. We also offer a variety of business English, lifestyle English and grammar activities based on ready-made lesson plans. We offer teachers a well-resourced and comfortable teaching space which helps them deliver effective lessons. Perhaps most importantly, we offer a supportive working environment with a group of dedicated teachers.

We are seeking part-time language tutors for lessons on weekdays, evenings and on Saturdays (we close on Sundays). We require all applicants to hold a teaching certification (CELTA, TEFL or equivalent) as well as a BA degree. The ideal candidate will create an energetic and positive learning environment, and will have a variety of methods for getting our learners to practice speaking and interacting during class. The ideal candidate will also need a strong foundation in English grammar in order to effectively give students correction.

For the interview we will ask that you prepare a lesson plan and ask for you to demonstrate your teaching style, as well as rationalize the methodologies you use to approach the language points you cover.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Education or a related field. 

• At least a 120 hour TEFL certificate, preferably the Cambridge CELTA or Trinity College cert-TESOL (or above).
