ESL Job in Shanghai
Our international kindergarten is now holding interviews for dedicated, fun-loving and effective young learner teachers who have a genuine passion for the education development of their students to join our school in Shanghai. We are located in the heart of the Tao River Road, adjacent to Soong Ching Ling’s former residence.
We are a newly established international kindergarten and we motivate our students, aged from 2.5 – 6 years old, to achieve their potential by fulfilling their social, emotional and physical needs with age-appropriate curriculum and recreational activities that balance the importance of repetition with opportunities to explore new ideas. Innovation and internationalization are the core values of our school.
Each classroom features an Interactive Whiteboard with access to teaching materials, songs and activities to compliment our proprietary PLAYWORKS curriculum. You will have a local Chinese teacher to assist with classroom management and alternate the teaching throughout the day.
Through PLAYWORKS, we provide the guidance and structure that enables children to engage in child-generated small and large group creative play. Students have the opportunity to think creatively, test concepts, draw conclusions and master new skills.
Teach English in Shanghai
Known as the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, Shanghai is truly an international metropolis in every sense of the word. The most vibrant and progressive city in China, Shanghai is the economic and cultural center, blending an incredible mix of Eastern and Western culture. On one side of the mighty Yangtze River flowing through Shanghai is the Pu Dong district, rural farm land just 20 years ago; it is now the financial and commercial hub with skyscrapers stretching ever higher. Along the western bank of the river, the iconic Bund is a reminder of Shanghai’s colonial past featuring grand European architecture.
For those who like to shop, party and eat, Shanghai has all you could possibly want and more. But despite its cosmopolitan reputation, pockets of quaint tradition remain alive and well, dotted throughout the city. Explore countless old markets, back streets crammed with local eateries and discover incense filled temples still central to the locals’ daily life.
