Location Overview: The school is located on a brand-new, purpose-built site in a beautiful part of China neighbouring a newly built film studio complex. A picturesque beach and various local amenities are within a ten-minute walking distance of the school. Qingdao itself is a major seaport in Shandong Province looking out over the Yellow Sea, an hour´s flight time from Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul. It has a rich heritage and a temperate climate. It is one of the most affluent and fastest growing cities in China and in 2009 was voted most liveable in China. The school is on a purpose built campus on the edge of the city with lovely rural views and is only 20 minutes away from the international airport. QUALIFICATIONS

Role Overview / Requirements: This is a UK curriculum school, who ideally require UK based experience however not essential, due to the nature of the school, teachers with EAL experience would also be preferred. They are happy to consider teachers who are flexible in their approach and with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. They would welcome teachers with families however applicants are advised to consider this is a bilingual school where at least 50% of the lessons will be taught in Chinese. Applications are welcomed from teachers from the UK, Australian, New Zealand, Canada, the USA and South Africa.
