We are looking to fill our position for a native English-speaking kindergarten teacher at a small, friendly and well-equipped school in Lad Prao district in Bangkok. The position is full-time, with around 22 contact lessons, Monday to Friday. Class sizes are around 35 children and full teaching support is available.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is a native speaker of English
- is qualified as a teacher of ESL (holder of TEFL, TESOL or equivalent)
- enjoys the challenge of teaching very young learners
- thrives in an environment which promotes professional development
- enjoys working with other as part of a educational team.
We offer:
- ongoing support and professional development as a teacher
- a monthly salary of between 33,000 and 35,000 Baht per month.

Ajarn.com was started as a small hobby website in 1999 by Ian McNamara. It was a simple way for one Bangkok teacher to share his Thailand experiences and pass on advice. The website developed a loyal and enthusiastic following. In 2004, Ian handed over the reins to Phil Williams and 'Bangkok Phil' has run the ajarn website ever since.
