Coins for Change schools are the biggest English center in Bac Giang – City of folk song (60 km away from Hanoi) and Tuyen Quang – Vietnam’s city of Victory (120km of Hanoi), Thanh Hoa – beach city of the center (1170km from Hanoi) and Vinh (Coastal City  - 300 km from Hanoi) are looking for full time – high paid English teachers.

 

Its mission is to render service to low-income families through educational enhancement and literacy programs. This organization works with a belief that it is not necessary to "do different things but do things differently” under the upcoming issues related to Education.

 

Our goal is to be part of improving and expanding English language education, plant seeds of linguistic and cultural understanding that set students on a path toward success in international business and diplomacy.

 

REQUIREMENT:

We are looking for 10 fulltime English teachers with prefer to native speakers or non – native with 9.0 IELTS and following requirement:

 

o   Candidates must be older than 25 and younger than 50 (as it required by law)

o   Be English Native Speakers or hold IELTS 9:0

o   A Bachelor of Art in any major is required (priority for education, journalism, literature)

o   Haven’t been convicted of a crime and no record of contagious or serious diseases

o   Holder of an (at least) 120 hours TEFL certificate

o   Be able to teach at least 1 year

o   Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and emails

o   An outgoing, friendly and proactive character

o   Comfortable working with a team or individually

o   Good communication skills

o   Able to use your own initiative and ask for help when needed

 

 

 

YOUR ESL JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

o   Up to 24 classes per week (60 minute and 45 minute classes, depending on the age

o   you are teaching)

o   Parent-teacher meetings and professional development days

o   Be responsible for providing a safe and fun learning environment for your students

o   Teach Monday through Sunday from 7:45am to 4:45pm with one hour each day for

o   lunch and 2 days off (to be decided when arrived);

 

We usually get students coming around from 3:00 – 8:00 PM on the week days and from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on the weekends.

 

Schedule is quite flexible since we are very much depending on our student’s schedule. So please accept our apology at first for any change in your working schedule may upset you guys when in Vietnam.

 

We will provide the following training and support:

o   Induction to organization

o   Full training on all aspects of the role

o   Training about Vietnamese students and how to handed a class

o   Different teaching method for children and adults

Accommodation and Food support

You will stay in a house with other teachers and staffs. They speak basic English, though you can organize your class with them every day to help us change their life.

You will have a private room with basic facilities including wifi, laundry and a kitchen.

In Tuyen Quang, food will be prepared by staffs following your list of stuffs required for the week, though you can prepare yourself whenever you want to make your own food. In Bac Giang, you will have to prepare the food by yourself though you will be invited most of the time by our students/partners/teachers, etc.

We will as well support with traveling around the city and from home to work with motorbike/bicycle and public bus.
