Leadership & Ownership:
Here at Capstone, we provide the teachers with a sense of leadership and ownership. You can develop your own curricula for student groups between the range from Grade 3 to Grade 12, bringing your particular background and skills to the challenge. You could also focus on a broader consulting role, providing advice and helping students chart their future paths. If your passion is teaching, you can deliver thoughtful, impactful lessons to highly motivated and curious students.
Working at Capstone Educational Group:
We offer the opportunity for our teachers for mini-rotations between offices during their work period. We work with students studying under a variety of different educational systems, from the American K-12 system to the British GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels, to the International Baccalaureate, to the local Hong Kong Diploma in Secondary Education. This exposure to a range of curricula provides valuable insights into how education in Asia mirrors or differs from our instructors’ own experiences.
We are looking for intelligent and driven instructors who are committed to student development. While all of our instructors have impressive backgrounds, they also possess enthusiasm and a diverse range of life experiences that engage and grow our students. Beyond this charisma and intelligence, we look for a moral aptitude and personal character that allows these instructors to be appropriate role models for developing youth. Based on your own unique skills, we will advise you on which position we believe you will be most suited to and we offer a job rotation scheme where you can gain more experience in different teaching environments.
We are currently looking for exceptional candidates for the following positions:
ESL Instructor - Teach in our International English Standard (IES) program for ESL, targeted at intelligent students attending international schools and top local schools.
Curriculum Strategist - Develop curriculum for student groups ranging from 10 to 18 years of age.
Admissions Consultant - Providing students with application support and interview skills as well as helping students reach their career and learning goals.
Speech and Debate Instructor - Teach students critical thinking, strategy, and negotiations and prepare students to become accomplished debaters and participants in Model UN / Mock Trial.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required CertificatesTESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
- Education RequiredBachelor
- Minimum Teaching Experience1 Year
Additional Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Be able to interact with students and parents in a highly professional, service oriented manner
- Be comfortable acting within a highly flexible role, able to easily shift focus among curriculum and teaching goals, and able to interact with students of several age groups and skill levels.
- Be able to troubleshoot and solve minor problems in the classroom or office independently
