The company:

We are an international kindergarten with 25 international staff members across 22 classrooms with 3 specialist teachers for art, music, and PE. We also have a dedicated team of local teachers and have 3 teachers in each classroom; one international teacher and two local teachers. Students ages range from 3-6. We are one of the top international kindergartens in Zhejiang and are candidate members of the prestigious IB educational group. We take great pride in our international inquiry based curriculum. Our school has great facilities such as dedicated PE and dance halls, music rooms, library, theatre, children’s kitchen, art room, pottery room, and swimming pool. Our school is in a fantastic location with easy access to international branded shops, restaurants, and cafes. We currently have around 500 students and class sizes range from 16 up to 25 depending on student age.

The position:

Main duties and responsibilities:

Design, prepare, and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of students
Create challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
Assess and monitor student progress
Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge
Communicate regularly with parents

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate we are looking for will meet the following criteria:

Will be a native English speaker or will have a degree from a native English speaking country
Will have a BA degree in education OR will have a degree in a different field with 2 years of post-graduate teaching experience
Will be open to new ideas
Will be enthusiastic and good at engaging with small children
Will be energetic and willing to engage in play based learning with the children; including songs and dances

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Benefits will include:

A post tax salary between 12,000 – 16,000 Chinese Renminbi per month
Return flights to home country
