We are presently seeking a qualified early childhood educator for a full-time position on a 2-year contract. August start, earlier start possible.
The successful candidate will be working in an environment where each team member´s contributions are essential to the continued evolution of our learning programs and to school growth. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate these qualities, along with a solid understanding of early childhood development and emergent curricula.
Main responsibilities:
- Daily preschool or kindergarten lead teacher, 2 afternoon elementary EFL classes/week, day care provider
- Assist children in developing and implementing emergent learning projects
- Create and manage documentation of learning (print, displays, digital)
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, professional development, and school events
- Maintain clean, orderly spaces and materials
- Contribute to school development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required CertificatesTeaching Credential/License
- Education RequiredBachelor
- Minimum Teaching Experience3 Years
- MajorEarly childhood education
Additional Requirements
- Early childhood licensure (elementary may be acceptable with EC experience)
- Native English speaker
