The English Teaching Program at Primary and Junior Middle Schools in Chaoyang, Beijing

A program run by our University is recruiting 14 teachers for English lessons in different primary and junior middle schools in Beijing.

Teachers will engage in oral English teaching and curriculum construction at primary schools in Chaoyang, Beijing.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Candidates should be friendly and have good understanding of Chinese culture; abide by Chinese laws and regulations, be in good health and do not possess criminal record.

Additionally candidates should:

1. Be a native speaker of English (American/British/Canadian/Australian/ New Zealand),

Class periods per week: 16(1 class period = 45minutes);

2. Possess a teaching certificate valid from their home countries, or an English language teaching certificate (TEFL、TESOL、TESL、CELTA、TKT and CELTY);

3. Bachelor’s degree or above;

4. Under 60 years old (Age limitation is not applicable to very experienced teachers)

5. Teaching experience of at least two years (For Bachelors majored in Education, Or Masters majored in education or ESL related areas, teaching experience is not a must);

1. Oral English teaching;

2. Curriculum construction;

3. Participation in students’ extra-curriculum activities;

4. Class periods per week: 19 (1 class period = 45minutes);

1. RMB15,000/month + RMB 4, 400 for settling down: 

2.  Free accommodation provided by our University (or RMB 4,000 Yuan/month subsidy)

3.  Insurances of RMB 22,000/year provided by our University.

4.  International air fare: one economic class round-trip travel to and from the home country;

5.  Medical check for visa application;

6.  Translation fee for visa application;

7.  Chinese legal holidays, summer and winter vacations with payments.
