This is a new school opening its doors to much fanfare in August 2019 initally to grades 1 and 2 but with plans to expand in to a through Primary to secondary school. This school is an international Chinese counterpart to a family of world renowned top British international schools in Asia and the UK.

This is an international school for Chinese nationals offering an enhanced Chinese and International curriculum developed by Chinese and international education experts and aim to prepare students for the 21st century world. This is a collaborative framework which provides a well-balanced programme consisting of the Chinese compulsory curriculum (G1 - G9) and leading international educational concepts and methodologies. It is the second of the schools to open with the first having opened very successfully in Shanghai in 2017.

The Beijing campus will provide first-class facilities integrating collaborative learning spaces with areas dedicated to performing arts, sports, STEAM and innovation. A Grade 1-12 School, with capacity for 6-forms of entry, the campus is designed for 1,800 students. Boarding houses will enable over 400 students to reside within the campus. The campus is located in the Grassetown residential development, in Tongzhou District of north Beijing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

You will be working with students in small groups. Previous EAL experience is essential and additional TESOL/TEFL qualifications are welcomed. You should have a minimum of two years post qualifying teaching experience and this should ideally include knowledge and experience in an inquiry based curriculum (for example PYP). The successful candidate will be a highly committed team player who is keen to contribute to the development of this new and rapidly expanding and forward-looking school. You should be student centred in your approach. Applicants must be willing to play a full part in the school´s pastoral care and extra-curricular programme.
