School Ethos/Vision: This is an international school based on the campus of a prestigious Beijing university and is a grade 1-12 school providing a unique educational experience for the approximately 423 members of the student body. Location Overview: Beijing is a bustling city with more than 13 million people on an area of 16,800 sq. km - the size of Belgium. The Beijing Municipality is flat and has a very orderly design - north, south, east and west circumnavigated by six concentric ring roads. The Beijing seasons are clearly marked by changes in weather and temperatures, and surprising splashes of colours. Requirements:
* You should be a qualified teacher with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience
* US or Canadian curriculum experience is a must for this role.
* You should have an inquiry based approach to your teaching. Teachers must be progressive educators who understand that inquiry is the basis of education at this school as is a strong community.
* You should have the ability to work well within a variety of cultures.
* You need to be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life!
