China boasts some of the world´s most incredible spots worth visiting at least once in a lifetime! Whether it´s walking along The Great Wall of China, cruising along the Yangtze river with a cocktail in hand or simply enjoying the culinary delicacies, there´s always something for everybody!

We offer 3 different teaching positions in China in the following cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Xi´An, Chengdu, Nanchang and Foshan.

1) Teaching a range of young learners from 3 to 15 year olds. About 70%-80% of the teaching schedules will focus on 6-12 year old students. Teachers have a wide variety of materials that are provided by the school, however, we completely encourage creativity as long as teachers stick to the target language point of the lesson. This school is one of the highest paying language schools in China with a strong reputation. We are seeking teachers who are outgoing, fun and who aren´t afraid to be goofy around the students!

The next 2 roles, focus on teaching solely adult learners.

2) Teaching groups of adult learners and focusing on conversational English with some business English lessons. The students mostly come from a business background (bankers, sales staff, translators etc). This role is about getting the students to produce and increase student talking time in the classrooms. We encourage friendly debates, role plays and even charades! This role is fun and we want an environment where students feel comfortable and confident! We are seeking teachers who are very approachable, adaptable and that are easy-going!

3) Teaching solely 1-1 adult learners but focusing on mostly business English lessons which are tailored to the student´s needs. The students are usually high end professionals (CEO´s, top directors and sometimes Chinese celebrities!), so we expect teachers to be able to provide a high level of customer service even outside the lessons, and being readily available to answer any questions via We Chat (widely used social app in China). We are seeking teachers who are very engaging, flexible and professional!

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or higher

A minimum of 120 hour TEFL certificate OR 2 years of teaching experience (full time, in class)

A native English speaking passport

- For these 3 positions, the base pay is from 16,000 RMB- 22,000 RMB/month (depending on location, as well as experience/qualifications)

- End of contract bonus is from 5,000 RMB- 7,000 RMB

- 1-2 weeks of paid training (varies from position)

- Hotel accommodation or dormitory stay upon arrival

- Full assistance with opening a Chinese bank account, getting enrolled onto the Chinese Health Insurance schemes, welfare support, on going training, observations and feedback etc
