A prestigious public high school in Zhengzhou, China is looking for native English speakers to teach conversational English to their students. There is a need for 2 teachers for the 2016-2017 school year.
This is a full time position requiring a one year commitment. The workload is 20-24 teaching hours per week.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who would like to explore China, experience the fascinating life and culture, learn some Chinese, and make friends with locals. Zhengzhou has a low cost of living, is an important transportation hub allowing for interesting travel options within China, and is close to the famous Shoalin Temple, located on nearby Mount Song.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree with a major in Education, English, or English-intensive field (Journalism, HIstory, etc)
- Teaching experience preferred (but we will consider new graduates with the right background!)
- Native English speaker
- Positive communicator
- Good character and strong work ethic
- No criminal record
- No knowledge of Chinese required!
