The position:

·Full time, year-long contract with Sunflower English

·Teach English to Chinese Children from ages 4-18

·30 hours of work per week with up to 25 teaching hours

·All materials provided

·A Chinese teacher assists in all classes

·Location: Jiaxing

What is sunflower?

Sunflower English is a long established English Tutoring company based in Suzhou China. In

eleven years, the company has opened 6 schools in Suzhou, and two satellite schools in

Zhejiang province. We provide after-school English training classes for children from as young

as 3 to as old as 18. Our classes are based on a series of time tested text books and the

procedures developed over our eleven years of experience in the field. At Sunflower we

believe that learning a new language should be not only immersive but also fun.

Who are we?

We are a relatively new and small school in Jiaxing china. We currently have 6

employees, with one handsome foreign teacher and three very capable Chinese teachers. We

see ourselves as a little family and would love to adopt a new member

Jiaxing is a beautiful traditional city set in middle of china, with quick and easy access to

larger more modern city (like Shanghai, Hongzhou and Suzhou) via the bullet train.

With historic sites like Xitang (water town) and Nanhu (beautiful lake) Jiaxing is a picturesque

city with much to offer.

We are looking for an outgoing and fun English teacher to move to China and join our team.

Applicants should be open to the idea of fun learning, and be willing to really engage

not only in their classes, but in our schools and company. Ideally we want teachers who

are ready to work and grow with us, becoming a part of the long serving Sunflower family.

Because of the cultural shock of moving to a new country, we would like adventurous

candidates looking for a new challenge, and ready to try a new way of life in beautiful

Southern China.

Requirements:

· Native English Speaker from one of the listed countries (New Zealand, America, Canada, UK, Australia)

· 4 years bachelors degree minimum, Degree certification

· TEFL certificate/and/or/ 2 years teaching experience( Letter of from your school with seal)

· Notice: if the foreign teachers do not have it, we will help you to arrange to Beijing to learn TEFL in China (just need 1 week).

· Clean Background Check ( need authenticate ,notarizing and legalizing )

· Clean verified bill of health (will do it in China)

· Willingness to move to China

· Be under the age of 50

Benefits:

· 18000 RMB/month starting salary negotiable based on qualifications

· Two days off (Monday and Tuesday ) per week
