Teaching with Shane English School Japan offers a balanced schedule of 50% adults and 50% young learners. You will work 5 days a week mainly in the afternoons and evenings, teaching no more than 25 hours a week. In Japan, students prefer to learn in smaller groups so classes will have no more than 6 students and many classes are one-to-one. Our requirements
University degree from an English-speaking country
A recognized teaching qualification, either:
• CELTA/TrinityTESOL or equivalent (no experience required)
• 120+hr TEFL and 2 yrs teaching/training/tutoring experience
Native level of English and all statutory education in an English speaking country
Are outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, sociable, hard-working, patient and professional
Are looking for a challenge and enjoy working with learners of all ages
