Shenzhen Donghai Primary School is regarded as one of the most prestigious primary schools in China.
It is recruiting 3 English teachers to join their established foreign teachers team.
•Teach and improve the English language skills , with the focus of reading and writing
•Students are age 6-12, teaching Years 1-6 in class sizes up to 20.
•Good teaching materials from the Cambridge or Oxford University Press.
•Teaching hours not more than 24 hours per week.
•Working day from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
•Teachers will need to attend school related festival events eg Halloween, Christmas and school open days and to assist in organising these events
•There will be regular meetings with Chinese English teachers to discuss plans and resources.
Qualifications required:
•A native English speaker
•A degree in Education
•Or a first degree in any subject BA + a 1 year Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
•Or a first degree + TEFL or TESOL certificate +
•Or a first degree + a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
•Clear CRB check and no criminal convictions.

A generous package of salary and benefits is available - approx. £31,000-£33,000 per annum. It will include:
• Salary - 16,000 to 18,000 RMB per month after tax
• Accommodation - A free self-contained and well-equipped 1-bedroom apartment is made available, 15 minutes walk from school.
• Meals - Breakfast and lunch are provided in school
• Flights - Return flights to China are paid for
• Airport arrival transfer will be arranged
• Medical Insurance will be provided
• Holidays - 11 paid public holidays plus paid summer and winter holidays, 3 months approx
There will be assistance with legal working visa and residence permit, initial training and induction in Cambridge with Education Gateway and good support and training within the school
