We are searching for outgoing and adventurous people who want to make new friends, help students learn and have an adventure of a lifetime! In addition, the four following criteria must be met.
*Be an American or British, Irish, Canadian citizen who speaks English as their first language
* Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in any subject
Clean criminal history
*Be mentally and physically healthy
Must prepare the documents as below:
A criminal record check with an apostille (UK,Ireland, USA) - valid for 6 months
A copy of diploma with an apostille (UK, Ireland, USA)
A notarized criminal record check from the Korean consulate - Canada
A notarized copy of degree from the Korean Consulate - Canada
Salary and Benefits
Benefits
Though these can change from school to school, the average contract will include these items
*One year teaching contract
*$1,800-$2,200 per month salary (the exchange rate will cause this to vary slightly)
*Paid housing- typically a one bedroom furnished apartment within the vicinity of the school or a housing allowance
*Health benefits- typically 50% coverage (the Korean Government subsidizes health costs so any health expense will be very minor. For instance a typical doctor´s visit will cost less than $25)
*Vacation days- all major Korean holidays and 7-14 vacation days
*Paid flight to and from Korea
*Option to renew contract with higher pay
