TEACH ENGLISH IN THE HEART OF EUROPE! Now hiring English teachers in Poland!

No experience required

Applications close in 134 days

English Wizards is looking for qualified Native English Teachers to join our community of teachers all over Poland. We work with a diverse range of language schools and private clients giving our teachers the opportunity to teach a wide assortment of classes. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Small-group conversational classes
  • Beginner and intermediate classes for kids and teens
  • Bilingual kids programs, preschools, and summer camps
  • Onsite Business English classes for companies
  • Private tutoring with students of all ages and abilities
We provide all of our teachers (Wizards as we like to call ourselves) with access to our entire database of teaching materials at the click of a button and 24/7 support to ensure that you are as prepared as possible for every class.
The fact that we are not a physical school, but rather a community of teachers, also allows your schedule to be extremely flexible. Simply let us know what hours and how much you´d like to work, and we´ll schedule your classes around that! Most incoming Wizards will be offered a set of "core" hours (between 15 and 25 per week), and then upon showing good performance will have the opportunity to pick up additional hours if they wish.
We hire teachers and accept applications on a rolling basis to match our constant need to fill open teaching positions. Typically, there are some positions open for immediate start, and others that will start at the beginning of the semester (September and March, and June for summer camps). As such, feel free to apply at any time of the year. Just let us know when you will like to start, and we will let you know what openings we have.
We are willing to hire qualified EU and non-EU passport holders. This is a great opportunity for those without EU citizenship looking to Teach English and legally work in Europe!

At the bare *minimum* we are looking for teachers who are
  • Native English Speakers
  • TEFL certified (or willing to obtain) OR with equivalent prior teaching experience
  • Outgoing & enthusiastic about teaching abroad
Beyond our minimum requirements, we do have additional requirements for certain teaching positions. For example, we require prior business experience to teach onsite Business English classes, and prior experience working with kids if you wish to work at any of our kids programs.

We offer all of our teachers a competitive salary of between 30 and 60 PLN (about €7.50-15) per hour. The hourly rate you will be earning is dependent on many factors, including but limited to:
  • Your experience and qualifications
  • The type of class you are teaching (typically, kids programs pay on the lower end and Business English pays at the higher end of the spectrum)
  • How much travel is required (for onsite business and private tutoring, if you are required to travel to meet the student the pay will be higher)
The majority of our Wizards start at 40 PLN (€10) per hour for their core teaching hours, plus often a higher rate if they wish to pick up extra hours doing private lessons. For most of our positions we offer a pay raise after completing one semester of superb teaching.
We do not offer free accommodation, but we can provide new teachers with help finding suitable accommodation so you´ll be guaranteed a place to live as soon as you get here.

English Wizards

English Wizards provides top-quality Native English Teachers to language schools and businesses all over Poland. At the same time, we build a strong community of teachers from all over the world who work together to build up our skills, both inside the classroom and out. Most traditional TEFL employers and recruiters focus only on hiring teachers and selling their course to students. At English Wizards, we believe that our teachers (or Wizards as we like to call ourselves) deserve a lot more. That's why we provide our teachers with complete access to our database of teaching materials at the click of a button, 24/7 support from our staff to address any concerns at work or outside of work, and a flexible scheduling policy to allow everyone to make the most of their time living in the heart of Europe. Since we are not a physical school, but rather a network of teachers, our Wizards have the opportunity to teach a diverse selection of students in many different environments. This empowers our staff to gain a wealth of teaching experiences that would be unfeasible at a traditional brick-and-mortar school.
