Shane English School Yangzhou is looking for more globe-trotting educators to join our awesome team of EFL teachers!
The SES Yangzhou school started way back in 2008 with only 1 teacher and a few students. From those humble beginnings, we have earned a reputation as the number 1 foreign taught private training school in Yangzhou. We currently have 28 foreign teachers on staff and have recently opened a brand-new campus bringing our total number of schools to 3.
It´s an excellent place to start for any first-time teachers as we offer extensive guidance and training, while experienced teachers will enjoy the stability and structure of the school along with the competitive salary and benefits package.
The students range from 3-18 years old, with the inclusion of a few adult classes. The average number of students is 10-12 in each class, and you’ll also have a local TA (teaching assistant) in each class to assist you with setting up activities, disciplining badly behaved students and checking student books.

Please be aware that teachers in China must have:
- A Bachelor degree (or higher)
- A 120-hour TEFL certificate
- A passport from either the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.

Here´s what we´re offering new teachers joining our team:
- 16,000 RMB per month.
- Flight reimbursement up to 5,000 RMB.
- 22 days paid holiday and 5 additional unpaid personal days.
- End of contract bonus 3000RMB.

- A Foreign Welfare Officer who aids teachers in renting an apartment, getting SIM card from China mobile, setting up checking account with a linked debit card, and any other logistic issues that foreign teachers may have upon arrival and stay in China.
