Teaching experience

Student age range: 15 – 18 years old.

Class size: 20 – 30 students in one class.

Class length: 40 minutes.

Working Hours: 21 to 24 teaching periods per week, (out of a total of 45 periods per week)

Monday to Friday 07:50 am-16:00pm.

Curriculum: Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum.

Training: Paid training (school-based Professional Development and periodic AP sponsored PD)

What makes you become a qualified teacher at our school

A Bachelor’s degree in Education, or equivalent.

2 years of teaching experience at least.

Demonstrated experience, or equivalent, and knowledge of Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum.

Teaching certificate like TESOL will be considered（120 hours+ training）

Contract Completion Bonus: USD4280 (RMB 30,000) paid upon successful completion of contract.

Airfare Bonus:

1st and 2nd-year contract - bonus paid on completion - USD 1710 (RMB 12,000 per year).

3rd-year contract bonus paid twice (December and May) USD 3420 (total of RMB 24,000 per year)

Insurance: Medical and Life insurance

Education allowance: Provided for a maximum of 2 children commencing in a second contract year (not retroactive), USD 10,000( RMB70,000) per year for 1st child, USD 7,140(RMB50,000) for 2nd child. (Does not apply for those who don’t have kids.)

All official national Chinese Holiday plus Summer and Winter Holiday and extended Christmas holiday paid.

Sick Leave: Full-paid sick leave 10 days per year, need to provide doctor’s note if the sick leave is more than 2 days.
