School Overview: We are proud to support this not for profit school that has been established since 1982. The school follows the International Primary curriculum and provides an international education for students aged 2 - 14 years of age in a large campus environment. The school has around 100 students enrolled. The school promotes its inquiry based learning and hands on learning methods in order to fully engage students in learning the essential knowledge, skills and understanding required, so that they remain committed to learning throughout their lives. Due to the small nature of the school, the Principal will be responsible for a minimal teaching load.

Regional Overview: Semarang is the capital City of Central Java and is its largest city. It´s a bustling mid-size town with a population of 1.5 million. It´s well known for having fewer traffic jams than Jakarta! You will find Dutch colonial architecture up against more traditional Indonesian architecture. Semarang has an international airport and it´s easy to get away for weekend or holiday trips. QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Education

* Five years´ post qualification experience is required in order to secure a visa

* Experience of working with EAL students is desirable as is previous international teaching experience

* Applicants MUST be under 50 in order to secure an Indonesian work visa.
