TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
Please note that enrolment on our courses is subject to the following terms and conditions:
All courses must be paid for in full prior to the course commencing with the exception of our Payment Options available for our Advanced and Master courses. You will be sent an email with confirmation details of the payment and instructions on how to activate your course. This fee is non-refundable, though you may contact admin@teflen.com within 7 days of your first login to request a refund. After 7 days the 'cooling off' period has ended you are not entitled to a refund if you wish to cancel.

COMPLETION OF THE COURSE

Your overall grade on the Course based on an average of your completed assessments.  Assignments are graded by qualified TEFL/TESOL teachers and all scores will be delivered to the system within 48 hours of Teflen receiving your submission. Upon successful completion of the Course, each student receives a unique validation code which allows them to download his or her certificate. This code can also be used to direct possible employers to the Certificate Validation area.

FAILING THE COURSE

Students are allowed 3 attempts at each assessment. If for any reason a student scores below 50% on each assessment for any assessment, he or she may not be able to complete the Course and gain the Certificate. It is the responsibility of the student to contact his or her trainer for assistance before this occurs. Teflen Administration can be contacted regarding assessment lock-out and re-enrollment if the student wishes to continue after failing the Course.

TEFLEN TRAINERS

Teflen Trainers are available at any time. They may be reached via email, or the in-house messaging system. Trainers will respond to all inquiries within 24 hours (Monday-Friday) and 48 hours (weekends and public holidays). Trainers are able to assist with academic questions relating to the Course, its content and assessment. Other inquiries regarding payment and enrollment should be directed to Teflen Administration.

NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS
Teflen allows all students to enroll regardless of first language background. However, as a TEFL course, it is specifically designed for Native English Speakers. Be aware that employers have different requirements for non-native English speakers, and this Course may not be indicative of those requirements. Students must present all assessments in English and may lose marks for incorrect language use.

COMPLAINTS
We endeavour to provide the best possible service.  Should you feel that you have been let down in any way by the service we provide and wish to lodge a complaint, you should in the first instance contact us at admin@teflen.com. Complaints should be made as soon as possible after the circumstances which caused you to make a complaint arose.  We will confirm receipt of the complaint and we will attempt to resolve the complaint promptly.

JOB SEARCH GUIDANCE
Teflen Training College provides guidance to help our trainee find an English teaching job abroad. We make no warranties, expressed and/or implied or otherwise, regarding your job search experience including, but not limited to, the quality or conditions of the students employment and agreement with an ESL school or organization. The student recognises that Teflen Training College is not a job placement organization and only assists students and graduates through guidance and advice in finding English teaching jobs abroad, Teflen Training College provides a job board for the convenience of our students. Teflen Training College staff are available to assist in developing the students resume, preparing for an interview, and reviewing an employment contract.  Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the student to obtain and accept an English teaching job abroad.

AIR TRAVEL, HOUSING, MEALS AND TRANSPORT
Student is responsible for air tickets, transfers, visa fees, taxes, and other expenses associated with Students course. Student may utilise any travel service they wish. Student agrees to indemnify and hold Teflen Training College harmless for any and all losses associated with air travel, hotels, lodging, meals, transport, and airport taxes. Teflen Training College advises to take travel and medical insurance. We cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. Teflen Training College strongly urges Students to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

DISCLAIMER
Teflen Training College reserves the right to alter the delivery of courses, subjects or services at any time, including its policies, procedures, fees, rules or regulations, and to discontinue or vary any course, subject or service at any time without notice.
