The International Communication Institute of Mexico, A.C. (ICI) is a legally established institute in accordance with the rigorous laws of the United States of Mexico. It specializes in language courses for Mexicans, Spanish for Foreigners and translation of documents.
ICI was founded in Guadalajara, Jalisco in November 1997 with a German donation as a nonprofit institution with the objective of offering language courses to Mexicans and foreigners at cost orientated prices.
We started in 1997 with 2 teachers and 8 students, now ICI has over 150 teachers and 2500 students in 3 schools: Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey.
We offer the following languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Polish and Arabic.
In numbers and quality we are now by far the #1 here in Guadalajara. ICI is the only language school covering the 3 main cities of Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey.
All teachers are native language speakers. ICI offers a special (and free of cost) training in order to promote effective learning.
We teach in important companies like HP, IBM, Intel, Siemens and so on.
We are looking for enthusiastic hardworking English teachers.
Teachers should expect to work a minimum of 25 hours per week with the opportunity to build up more hours depending on the teacher´s flexibility.

All applicants should;
- Be Native
- Have had some form of teaching experience, either as a trainee teacher or as a paid teacher.
- Have a TEFL/TESOL or CELTA certificate
- Be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Successful applicants should expect to earn between 9,000 to 16,000 Mexican pesos a month.
- The monthly cost of living in Guadalajara is approxiamtely 6,000 Mexican pesos.
- As a teacher at ICI you will be registered on the national health system.
- Teachers can take free language clases at the school.
- Should you have young children you can also take advantage of our Kindergarden.
