About School:

 

This private school is the subsidiary of Elite K-12 International Education Group, adopting the US Common Core Standard and the teaching methodologies of Project-based Learning (PBL) in designing programs. The aim is to provide students opportunities in not only learning Academic English, but also acquiring the soft-skills of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, problem solving and creativity, which will enable them to adapt and enhance their own capacity in this constantly changing 21st century.

 

Current Vacancies:

Position: Head Teacher/Teacher

Location: Shanghai/Hangzhou/Shenzhen/Ningbo

 

Job Overview:

 

1.Head Teacher:

 

Responsibilities:

ØAssist in the management of the center academic department by maintaining pro-active oversight over certain key areas, providing remedial action and training where necessary

ØHelp to form a highly reputable center teaching team that is productive and accountable within the multicultural team.

 

Requirements:

1)5-6 years of teaching experience of reading, writing and/or general English courses

2)Bachelor’s degree with CELTA/TEFL/TESOL

3)Experience of developing own lesson plans and resources while working towards set goals and objectives.

 

2.Teacher:

 

Responsibilities:

ØDeliver high quality phonics, literature and writing classes to students

ØPlan and teach outstanding and engaging lessons that meet course syllabus goals and objectives while applying school’s teaching approaches

ØKeep up to date on Academic administration, including issuing and explaining homework assignments, tracking student progress and writing student progress reports

ØAssist in marketing activities and promotions

 

Requirements:

1)Native English speakers

2)Bachelor´s degree or above

3)Teaching qualifications preferred (Tesol/TEFL/CELTA)

4)2+ years teaching experience in reading/writing (preferably with young learners)

 

Package & Benefits:

1．Base salary of RMB 12-23k per month depending on position, qualification and experience
