Columbia International College Taiwan is seeking a certified teacher teacher to teach English in Taiwan.
We are a certified Taiwanese branch of the biggest international boarding school in Canada. Our goal is to provide incomparable opportunities for all students interested in pursuing higher education. The school is situated in a quiet and peaceful location in Longtan Township. Unlike the bigger cities such as Taipei, where air pollution and noise can be issues, Longtan is a comfortable place to inhabit. The campus includes both the school and student residences as well as a large campus grounds with multiple lakes. There are local free shuttle buses to take you into the city.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required Certificates: Teaching Credential/License
- Preferred Certificates: TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours, TESL/TEFL Certificate, TESL/TEFL Diploma Level

- Accommodation Details: $5,000 NTD housing allowance provided monthly (option to live on campus to save on transportation costs)

Starting salaries for qualified teachers is $70,000 NTD - or about $2,560 CAD (including the housing allowance). Qualified teachers who sign at least 2-year contracts will be given a $45,000 NTD signing bonus (spread over a period of nine months) as well as a contract-completion bonus (amount to be determined).
