Qualifications Required
To be eligible for jobs at Wall Street English, teachers must have the following:
- Be native-speakers from the UK and Ireland, Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
- Have a four-year university degree
- Have a full 120-hour in-house teaching certificate
- Have at least two years relevant teaching experience
Wall Street English provides one of the best salary packages available anywhere for ESL teachers in China. Wall Street English has two different contract packages for teachers in China:
A: 16,000 RMB per month (around $2,540) for 30 teaching hours + 5 office hours per week
B: 11,200 RMB per month (around $1,800) for 21 teaching hours + 4 office hours / week
The salary is paid on a monthly basis directly into a Chinese bank account which the schools will help you to open.
