Qualification Requirements
*Native English speaker
*Age 20 - 50
*TEFL/CELTA and 1 year teaching experience required
*Citizen of US, CA, UK, Ireland, AU, NZ, or S. Africa
*Bachelor´s Degree
Benefits
There will be a $400 deposit upon acceptance to the program, which will be returned to you when you complete your full contract term, along with an end of contract bonus. If you do not complete your contract, this deposit is non-refundable.
What´s Included:
- Monthly stipend to cover living expenses: 1,500,000 Pesos per month
- End of semester or end of year completion bonuses 500,000 pesos for 5 months & 1,000,000 pesos for 10 or 11 months
- In-country support from a local coordinator
- 24/7 Emergency Line
- Domestic flight to placement city from Bogota (domestic baggage fees are not covered if you have more than 23 kg of luggage)
- Accommodation during orientation and the first month of placement is included in shared rooms (most likely in a hostel).
- Assistance finding housing after first month from program regional coordinators, who know the neighborhoods and can help communicate with landlords
- Colombian national health insurance
