SUMMARY

Grants for English native speakers who have graduated from university, to teach in private schools across Spain managed by UP International Education, a company whose activity is endorsed by the Government of Navarra (Spain), and in collaboration with the San Jorge University of Zaragoza (USJ).

Live in Spain for eight or nine months with your living expenses covered while learning the language and working in the most noble of professions: teaching!

There is an enormous demand for native English speaking in the Spanish’s educational system. We offer a grant that allows you the opportunity to undergo a teaching apprenticeship in Spain:

an 8-9-month apprenticeship in a private school being an assistant teacher (of English or in English) to students of school age 4-17 years old
living expenses covered by the grant
Postgraduate Certificate In Content And Language Integrated Learning
minimum of 15 classroom hours weekly
the school will provide a tutor for guidance and supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

As a candidate, you must:

have a teacher training diploma ( desirable)
have a university degree preferably a degree in Education
not previous work experience as a teacher is required

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Compensation:

Grant of up to 845 euros/month or equivalent with the possibility of earning extra money as the terms and conditions do not oblige exclusivity, as long as the economic activity does not interfere with the terms and conditions of the grant.

ASSISTANCE

The assistant teacher will receive all necessary support and help with the formalities and administrative requirements related to the role and also some possible financial support. On his/her arrival the assistant teacher will receive from Up International Education all support needed with their accommodation and/or any paperwork involved and with any other matters to enable the person to settle in smoothly.
