John Milton Institute, part of BURLINGTON ENGLISH GROUP, is looking for reliable, enthusiastic and professional teachers to join our staff in Palermo and Messina urgently.
We teach to adults as well as to teenagers and children. Our students are also managers of very important companies, medical doctors and young professionals. We have a range of classes including different levels and programmes. We have our own books but we also use others, including online resources and multimedia materials.
The John Milton Institute obtained the Quality Certification ISO 9001:2000 five years ago and our standards are very high, as is the quality of our staff. We try our best to provide a friendly and professional working environment.
We are part of City & Guilds International and Trinity College, and we want our students to get to international qualifications.
All teachers are given training upon arrival, as well as day-to-day support from the Director of Studies. Staff have access to a variety of teaching resources and the internet. We can also provide accommodation and support, especially for the first weeks.
Compensation: We offer a fixed monthly salary or a free-lance teaching contract running for 1 year with the possibility of renewing it. Full details to be given at interview stage on the phone or meeting you.
Between 10/12 and 15 euros per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Minimum 80 hours – maximum 130 hours per month (from Mondays to Fridays between 9.00 am and 21.00 pm, and Saturday morning upon request).
