NAIS is looking for a Middle or High School ELA Teacher who has experience teaching English Language Learners.  Our curriculum follows the Common Core State Standards and relies heavily on projects as a form of assessment. We gather data throughout the year using NWEA MAP Testing and encourage data driven teachers to apply.  ELA teachers use Achieve 3000 as a resource to produce blended curriculum for their coursework that is individualized to meet the needs of our students.  We are looking for teachers who have a desire to collaborate and who are open to integrating content from other disciplines into their classroom.

• Education Required: Bachelor
• Minimum Teaching Experience: 2 years of teaching experience

• Teaching Credential/License
• Due to the policy of the government, applicants age 55 and older are not eligible
• Teachers must have documentation of two years of successful teaching experience in a classroom setting or a university degree in education
• Successful candidates must be able to provide a clear criminal background report
• All applicants must meet the work permit/Visa regulations of China
