Benchamatheputhit School Phetchaburi is looking for a full–time native English speaker to teach English for communication at high school level.

Classrooms have computers, projectors, screens, document readers, whiteboards, and air conditioning. Teachers will have a desk in an air conditioned office with a WiFi internet connection.

Benchamatheputhit School Phetchaburi (http://bmp.ac.th) is a mathayom–level public school. Mathayom 1 through 6 are equivalent to grades 7 through 12. The school has a population of roughly 3000 students.

The school is located in the provincial capital city of Phetchaburi within the province of Phetchaburi in Thailand. Phetchaburi is approximately a 1h45m (or 140 km) drive southwest of Bangkok and 70 km north of the beach resort city of Hua Hin. Phetchaburi is 20 to 60 minutes away from many other beaches that line the Gulf of Thailand with excellent access to the many southern islands. As well, Kaeng Krachan National Park, offering a multitude of outdoor activities, is a mere 20 to 30 minutes away.
Phetchaburi is a medium–sized city with many modern amenities and services. Phetchaburi is accessible by minivan, bus, and train.

Contract and Benefits

The salary is 33,000 baht per month. The teacher who renews their contract will receive yearly raises. There is the possibility of teaching private lessons for extra income.

Optional on–campus accommodation is provided free of charge (occupants pay for the utilities). Government health insurances are also provided . The school will take care of your visa, work permit, and income tax filings.

The school is closed during all government holidays with time off in October between semesters and in March and April between school years.
