Suzhou Sunflower English are seeking an enthusiastic English teacher to join them in the beautiful city of Suzhou.
Job Description
40 hours of work per week. Up to 25 hours of which can be teaching hours. The remaining hours outside of teaching are office hours for prep and ongoing training. The working schedule for teachers usually looks like this:
- Monday: Off
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 1pm-8pm
- Thursday: 1pm-8pm
- Friday: 10am-6pm
- Saturday: 9am-6pm
- Sunday: 9am-6pm
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required CertificatesTESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
- Education RequiredBachelor
- Minimum Teaching Experience1 Year
Additional Requirements
- An outgoing teacher willing to work with children
- Clear of any criminal background
- Native English Speaker with a passport from a recognized English speaking country
- A graduate of a 4 year college with a bachelors diploma or higher
- Willing to move to China and try something new
- TESL or TEFL preferred but not required (we can send teachers to TESL training in Suzhou)
- Work experience is nice but not needed (TESL training in China counts for work experience with the Chinese embassy when applying for a Z-Visa)

- 13,500 to 15,500 RMB per month salary (negotiable)
