Job Description
27 hours a week including office hours
Student age: 3 – 13 years old
Class Size: 10 – 14 students per class
5-day work weeks with 2 consecutive days off
All materials are provided. Teachers are provided with a box to store their classroom belongings and teaching tools. If a teacher would like to create or bring their own recourses they are more than welcome to do so. This includes music, posters, books, snacks, or anything the teacher feels will add to the lesson and aid the students’ learning.
Job Requirements
a passport from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa
a bachelor’s degree or better
a 120-hour TEFL certificate or better
a clear criminal background
Job Details
18,000 RMB monthly salary
5,000 RMB flight reimbursement
5,000 RMB visa reimbursement costs
22 days of paid time off (including Chinese holidays)
2-week teacher training paid at 1,000 RMB per week
Health insurance provided by the school
A representative from the school will pick you up from either Hangzhou or Shanghai airport and take you directly to Shaoxing.
A hotel will be provided and paid for by the school when a teacher first arrives. The school will pay for the hotel until the teacher can find an apartment. It usually takes a teacher 2 – 3 days for the school to help the teacher find a suitable apartment near the school.
