- Taunggyi: Taungyi is the capital and largest city of Shan State,Myanmar(Burma) and lies on the Thazi-Kyaingtong road at an elevation of 4,712 feet, just north of Shwenyaung and Inle Lake within the Myelatregion. Taunggyi is the fifth largest city of Myanmar,and has an estimated population of 380,665 as of 2014.The city is famous for its hot air balloon festival held annually on the full moon day of Tazaungmon

 

 

About School:

Position Detail:

- Student: 7 - 16 years old

- Class size: 20 - 22 students/ class

- Working hours : Monday - Friday, 2 days off on the weekend

- Teaching hours: 20 - 22, the rest is office hours

To our HR person:

- Be a Native Level German Speaker

- You must hold a recognized university degree.

- You must hold German teaching qualification DaF. DsH, or any other German teaching

- Certificate or have an accredited endorsement on your teaching license.

- All positions require at least one full year´s practical leading and teaching classroom experience.

- Have experience living abroad (preferably 1 year or more) in a developing country and a solid sense of adventure.

- We offer single academic year Employment agreements but are very focused on giving our students certainty and continuity and preference are given to applicants who are prepared to commit to 2 consecutive agreements.

- Our salary year is from 1st week of June to 30th April.

- Our teacher-working year runs from June 1st through to the eve of Thingyan in early April of the following year.

- For those that complete a single academic year contract and are offered and accept a second year contract, we offer a one-month paid holiday for the month of May.

- Paid flight costs to and from Myanmar on full completion of contract from Bangkok.
