School Overview: This is a brand new school launched in 2016 in Al Shamkha, 30 mins from Abu Dhabi city centre and serving a mostly Emirati intake. The school is in a purpose built building with some excellent facilities including Auditorium, Pool, Floodlit Football pitch and large Library plus some of the latest technology to support teaching in the 21st century. The school is licensed as a K - 12 school opening in to Grade 6 Primary in its initial year and licensed to take up to 1700 students in total.

Requirements: The applicant must have 4+ years teaching experience. You should have a Bachelor of Education degree or a first degree in a core Primary subject (English, Maths or Science) along with a Post graduate certificate. UK curriculum experience is highly desirable - excellence in teaching is the priority. As a school in its second year you should be a teacher who is prepared to be flexible and adaptable and open to the developing nature of a new school environment and possesses the resilience this can require. You should be sensitive to cultural differences and work well under pressure. Experience of working with EAL students is welcomed.
Package: Salary dependent upon experience and ranging from 8000 AED to 16000 AED Tax free per month.; Shared accommodation is provided (or accommodation allowance) in all new modern homes 15 minutes from the school. You will receive annual flights, Medical cover, transport to and from school initially, tuition for first child and then 25% discount for further children.
