Enthusiastic, personable graduates are sought for a range of teaching roles for a private language school with multiple campuses across China. A Teaching Degree is not required, and we welcome applications from graduates across a wide range of subject disciplines.

Roles are available for a February to April start.


English Teaching: i2 English courses focus on small group classes, to give each student personal attention. The course focuses on encouraging children to practise their oral and written English, and build their confidence.

Arts and dance teaching: i2 Art Courses help to integrate personalised language learning with dance, drawing and drama. Courses provide an internationalized education and a platform for better communication and demonstration, as well as encouraging students to express themselves creatively.

Football coaching: I2’s mission is to teach children the basic skills and rules of the sports in English, to reinforce previous language skills and introduce new language skills. The focus is primarily self-improvement, followed by friendly competition. Within a class, a student will have the chance to experience leadership, sportsmanship, communication skills, team work, physical development through exercise, competition, discipline, encouragement, mutual respect, an English environment and most of all.. fun!


Teacher Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Report to the Head Teacher and the Principal.

  2. Attend weekly staff meetings.

  3. Cooperate with your co-teacher as a member of a team.

  4. Prepare the classroom decorations with displays and student artwork.

  5. Teach the curriculum provided by the school

  6. Prepare all lesson materials

  7. Greet and speak with parents, daily, at drop off time and at pick up time.

  8. Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in your care.

  9. Teach lessons according to the plans provided by the International Department.

  10. Prepare for special event activities during working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject area

  • TEFL/ TESOL certification (may be completed subsequent to application)

  • Fluent English speaker

  • Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative, friendly personality, and a love of working with children!
