School Vision / Ethos: This school launched in 2005 and delivers UK and then IB curriculum to 160 students with a focus on individual potential and the holistic development of the child. The focus is on self-motivated and individual learning in a highly respectful, stress-free and creative environment. Facilities are good - and the close knot family feel that the school promotes permeates through the school.

Regional Overview: Germany is a diverse and fascinating country lying at the heart of Europe. Near the border with France, Neustadt is on the German Wine Route and lies at the edge of the Palatinate Forest in a region which enjoys plenty of sunshine. The historic old town with its narrow, winding alleyways and medieval architecture, as well as its wine-producing tradition which is an integral part of Neustadt´s culture, make this a charming and pleasant little town. 20 minutes away the bustling city of Mannheim is nearby for those wanting a fix of big city life with all of the entertainment and facilities you would expect from a large metropolis (many of the teachers from the school live in Mannheim and commute by short train ride to the school in Neustadt).

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree level certification and QTS or equivalent. Teachers will preferably have two years´ experience, and IB experience would be beneficial but not essential. EU passport holders preferred however teachers from US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can be hired through work permits (at teacher cost).

You will be teaching to IBDP level and should have this or equivalent 16 - 18 year old experience.
