Lecturer for BA TESOL Program

The BA TESOL program at Siam Technology College in Bangkok is looking for lecturers. Applicants must have at least a Masters degree in Education or any related field to the following subjects:

1. Teaching English Grammar

2. TESOL Methods and Materials

3. Classroom Management

4. Curriculum Development

5. Teaching Reading

6. Teaching Writing

7. Second Language Testing

8. Educational Research

QUALIFICATIONS

There are two types of courses that will be taught: either weeklong courses that run Monday - Friday for five days during March, April, and October, or weekend courses that run for five consecutive weekend days year round, each weekend course starting on either a Saturday or a Sunday.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Pay rate is 15000-17000 for the full 5 days of teaching. Hours run 9 a.m. until around 4 p.m. Each course consists of maybe 20-30% of lecture time, followed by a method called "jigsaw" which gets the students involved in the lesson and creates a collaborative learning environment.
